| William P. Massey enlisted in the 42nd Regiment, Co F Mississippi Volunteers on April 29, 1862 in Sarepta, MS. He was captured, wounded, by the Union Army during the battle of Gettysburg on July 3, 1863. It is not known as of yet what happened to him. He most likely died after being captured. |
